TV beds: a bed with the TV built in
A TV bed is an upholstered bed with an electric TV lift hidden inside the footboard. Press the remote and your TV rises to viewing height; press it again and the screen disappears neatly out of sight. Moderna TV beds are designed for compatible TVs between 27 and 43 inches, depending on the bed size, and include free assembly.
It's a space-saving way to watch TV in bed without a separate TV stand, wall bracket or visible cables trailing across the room.
How do TV beds work?
Each TV bed frame features a motorised lift in the footboard. Once your compatible TV is fitted to the lift, the supplied remote raises and lowers it. When the TV is lowered, the bed looks like a standard upholstered bed with a taller footboard.
Moderna TV beds have a hardwood frame and slatted mattress base for support. The electric lift requires a nearby plug socket, so check socket access and cable routing before choosing where to place your bed.
Which TV fits? TV bed sizes explained
The maximum compatible TV size depends on the bed's footboard width. Use this quick guide when choosing a TV bed with a built-in lift:

Before ordering: TV sizes are measured diagonally across the screen. Check the full TV width, height, thickness, weight and mounting compatibility against the specification for your chosen TV bed; diagonal size alone does not guarantee a fit.

King size TV beds

Do TV beds come with a TV?
No. Each TV bed comes with the bed frame and electric lift, but you use your own compatible TV. The maximum stated screen size is 32 inches for small double, 37 inches for double and 43 inches for king and super king beds. Always check your TV's full dimensions and mounting compatibility.
Are TV beds any good?
A TV bed can be a good choice if you enjoy watching television in bed and want to keep your room tidy. It hides the screen when not in use and removes the need for a separate TV stand. The main trade-off is a taller footboard, so measure the available space first.
Do TV beds need to be plugged in?
