Refund & Returns Policy

At Moderna Living, we want you to be absolutely delighted with your new furniture. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, we offer a straightforward returns process.

1. 30-Day Return Period
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to notify us if you wish to return your item for a refund.

2. Condition of Returns
To ensure a smooth return process, please note the following conditions:

Unopened & Unused: Items must be returned in their original condition.

Packaging: Since our beds are delivered flat-packed and wrapped (unboxed), they must be returned securely wrapped in the same manner they were received to prevent damage during transit.

No Assembly: We cannot accept returns for items that have been fully or partially assembled. Please check all components and fabric finishes before beginning assembly.

3. Refund Policy & Fees
Full Refund: If the item is returned unopened, unused, and in its original protective wrapping, you will receive a full refund of the purchase price.

Opened Items: If the item has been unpacked or the protective wrapping has been removed, a £60 restocking and delivery fee will be deducted from your refund. This fee covers the specialist handling, inspection, and logistics required for unboxed furniture.

Bespoke Items: Please note that items manufactured to your specific custom specifications (bespoke sizes or custom fabric choices) are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or faulty.

4. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please follow these steps:

Contact Us: Email hello@modernaliving.co.uk with your Order Number and the reason for your return.

Authorization: Our team will review your request and provide you with a return authorization and instructions.

Collection/Shipping: We can assist in arranging a collection, or you may return the item via a trackable, insured courier at your own expense.

5. Damaged or Faulty Items
We take great pride in our quality, but if an item arrives damaged:

You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please provide your order number and clear photos of the damage.

If the item is confirmed as faulty or damaged upon arrival, we will arrange a replacement or a full refund at no cost to you.

6. Processing Your Refund
Once your return is received at our warehouse and inspected:

We will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 working days to your original payment method.

Note: Bank clearing times may vary, usually taking an additional 3–5 days to appear in your account.

7. 5-Year Warranty
All Moderna Living products come with a 5-year warranty covering manufacturing defects and structural integrity. This ensures your peace of mind long after the initial return period.
